Lost in Galicia(2009)
A film script written as a casual and costumbrista piece that tells the story of Irene, a female truck driver who arrives to Fariño do Mar, a small Galician fishing village, to pick up seafood, but finds her truck wedged in, blocking the passage to a cemetery on the same day that Filomeno’s father, the head of the Shellfish-Gatherers Guild, has died.
The Descent of the Last Sunset(2005)
Winner of the IV “Relatos por Entregas” (Stories by Installments) Contest, organized by La Voz de Galicia (The Voice of Galicia) newspaper. Published by Editorial Sotelo Blanco (Sotelo Blanco Publishing) (A Coruña), this short novel relates the story of two reporters from Galician Television, Esther and Xema, who travel to Trasomundo da Cancela —a peculiar town on the border of Portugal, populated by a vast collection of unusual characters— to do a report on death-worship in Galicia. There they encounter the mysterious disappearance of a man, an event that will inject a considerable dose of suspense and humor to the story.
Compostellanum (2003)
Finalist in the III Contest “Relatos por Entregas” (Stories by Installments) organized by La Voz de Galicia (The Voice of Galicia) newspaper. Published by Editorial Mandaio, Biblos Clube (Mandaio Publishing, Book Club (A Coruña), it is a historical novel of intrigue that takes place in the 12th Century, when Pope Calixto II sends to Compostela a Cardinal Guido of Borgoña to judge Bishop Gelmírez, accused by the populace of nepotism. At a given moment, a series of mysterious murders occur, that should be investigated by the papal nuncio and his assistant, a young, inexperienced friar, with the invaluable help of a clever Jewish girl. It is a period of social convulsion and stately intrigue which helps determine the political future of Galicia.
The story of the guarantee (2001)
A short story about the Tooth Fairy, who requests a bank loan to expand its business, but things do not turn out as expected. This short story was the winner of the “Relatos de Verán” (Verán Stories) Contest, organized by Voz de Galicia (The Voice of Galicia) newspaper. It was published for the press and “Relatos de Verán” (Verán Stories) by Editorial Ir Indo (Ir Indo Publishing) with VV.AA.
