Legend has it that one day a year, during the eve of San Juan (St. John), humans can access the magical world of elves and fairies, a place where harmony reigns and dreams become true. Elena, a bright girl, rarely prone to pointless dreaming, does not believe in legends. However, her father, the duke Teseo, is very ill and she will do anything to lift his spirits, including embarking on a trip in search of Titania, Queen of the Fairies, accompanied by the cynical banker Demetrio and the imaginative Lisandro, who do their utmost to curry her favor. The magical world, however, has been forgotten by humans and is not what it used to be. Its king, Oberon, is a playful, heavyset elf, who sells spells wholesale, backed up by his assistant Perecho, a savvy and mischievous elf.
